CATS in SPACE have
caused quite a stir since landing in 2015. With their unique sounds they will
transport you back to the days of 70s Classic Rock.
Touring with
legendary rock giants Deep Purple, Status Quo & Thunder playing UK arenas, plus Hyde
Park with Phil Collins and Blondie. The Cats have gained an ever
growing army of faithful fans.
Tonight three of the band
members, lead vocalist, guitarist and pianist, strip back the sound and offer a
rare, intimate arrangement of some Cat classics plus a few surprises too.
ELIZABETH and JAMESON
Hannah Elizabeth* (vocals/violin) and Griff Jameson** (vocals/guitar) first met
whilst touring and performing in other acts on the UK acoustic folk-roots scene,
eventually partnering to release material for the first time as a duo in 2016. Merging
their individual backgrounds of traditional folk and folk pop/rock, they have created a
stunning acoustic folk-roots duo, with original songs rich in emotive storytelling and a
harmony-driven sound featuring guitar, violin and exquisite vocals.
A full-time musician, creating music, performing at venues across Essex, Kent, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and (East) London. Anna has been performing for the last 15 years, in a mixture of settings; solo, duo, trio and band. I gig on the circuit and my covers have a unique arrangement to them, as I curate my own mixes and medleys to catch all decades of music, in a one-woman band style, with stomp, loop station, keys and sax.I released my debut album “Circles” Boxing Day 2019. We hosted an album launch with over 200 people, family and friends attending the event. It was an album that had been inspired by Carole King and Joni Mitchell, as these were two prolific singer-songwriters that I had been studying in my final year of undergraduate study. The subject matter of the album was documenting those years at University where i met interesting people from all over the world in the vibrant, Cosmopolitan City that London is.
